Why are you charging me?

All paid subscriptions are recurring. If you are seeing a charge you did not expect, it may be for a previously created account. Located below is an option to enter your email address. This will check to see if we have an account associated with it. If you’ve recently visited us, your account information may automatically appear:

If you are uncertain if you have a MediaFire account, enter your email address and we’ll check to see if we have you in our records. If we find your email, we’ll send you a link to the password reset page. If you’re having trouble recovering your password, please Submit A Ticket.

Did your account automatically appear? If so, you may access your account anytime.

Did you enter your email address? If so and we’re able to find an account, a password reset is required and we have sent you an email with instructions detailing how to reset your password.

Have you asked your family members or business partners if they’ve created an account? Perhaps they’re using our service.

How do I cancel my account?

Cancelling an account is easy and you may cancel your account anytime. Here are two ways to cancel your account:

1st Way

  • Once logged into your account, click the circular icon located next to your name near the top left of your window.
  • After clicking on it, a drop down menu will appear. Click on “Account settings”. This navigates you to your account settings page.
  • Next, click "Account and Billing". This will display your account information.
  • Located to left of your account information is a menu. There you’ll find "Cancel Subscription."

2nd Way

Contact Customer Support by submitting a ticket.

Cancelling the subscription will prevent future charges and will cancel the current subscription from automatically renewing. This will result in your account being downgraded to a free subscription at the end of the current subscription.

Can I get a refund?

MediaFire offers a 30-Day Money Back Guarantee. For other circumstances, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. To inquire about a refund, please contact MediaFire by email at refund@mediafire.com.
